Hammond Castle Gloucester and Backyard Micro Wedding

Robyn and Andrew have been planning their big wedding in the city with all the details figured out. So when they suddenly had to rethink their plans, they decided they still would like to be married on their original date and have a big party later on. They decided Robyn’s family home was the perfect place for a backyard wedding. The still wanted epic wedding portraits so they rented out Hammond Castle in Gloucester for a 1 hour session. Then we went to the nearby Wingarsheek beach for some beautiful sunset photos.

Their wedding celebration took place at a beautiful property in Methuen right next to a lake. Though the wedding was small, all the details were incredible from the archway to the table settings. They walked down the aisle (with their dog Nellie as the flower pup) and then said their own vows to each other. Robyn had a case of the giggles as Andrew read his vows, which made it all the more sweet. With a kiss they were wed! We got to photograph at the nearby lake right at the peak of golden hour. The clouds in the sky were reflected so beautifully in the lake.

They then began their reception with Robyn’s father’s toast, a sweet first dance and parent dances. Robyn and Andrew had been taking dance lessons but only got to the fourth one before covid struck so they winged it, which made for many laughs. Finally there was dancing where even the four dogs got to show off their moves!
